Last Wednesday was the Diamond D assembly where the seniors who earned the necessary 100 points through their Dixie High experience earned their Diamond D.
The assembly was hosted by Dylan Cluff and Gabe Garcia and it turned out like a game show. “Whose House?” shouted one of the host then the audience replied “D’s House”.
The contestants were Rachel Guyman, Denton Shepard, Tadd Challis, Toshi Becker, Mikelle Gardner, Shayla Wilkinson, Austin Barker, Peter Bown, and Sam Dickson.
The ones that were voted King and Queen of D day were Rachel Guyman and Tadd Challis.
They had the Diamond D Royalty were split into two teams: team A and Team Barbra. Then Gabe and Dylan asked the Royalty some trivia questions about Dixie one of the questions were “Name ten teachers here at Dixie high?” which Rachel Guyman answered. They also showed a video where they interview each of the Diamond D royalties.
Before the king and queen were crowned the theme song was sung.
Congratulations to the nine recipients of the prestigious Diamond D.
