The Dixie 100 Blog: Season 1

The Dixie 100 Blog would like to thank you for following us through our first year at Dixie High School. This post concludes our first season as we take a break for the summer. We will return in August 2011 with The Dixie Blog with new posts, pictures, updates, features and more. The pictures below officially conclude Dixie's centennial year. What are some of your favorite memories here at Dixie High?
-Making friends with the staff, I love each of them and will miss them.
-Laughing, enjoying moments
-Parties, plays, get-together's

Is there anything that you won't miss from your job?
The stress, hoping I am doing things right.

What are some of the positions you have held at Dixie? (Teacher, Attendance Secretary, Finance Secretary, Librarian, etc.)
-Attendance Secretary
-Principal's Secretary

Do you have any plans for retirement (or after leaving Dixie High)?
-Do second job (transcription for Dr.) until they go go to full voice automated system, which could be soon.
-Spend time with family
-Travel
-Genealogy

Wayne High School in Bicknell, Utah

What are some of your favorite memories here at Dixie High?
-Painting the "D"
-Teacher/student basketball games during D Week
-Lots of wonderful students & staff
-Christmas parties
-Special lunch dates
-Opening socials

Is there anything that you won't miss from your job?
Collecting physicals for sports.

What are some of the positions you have held at Dixie? (Teacher, Attendance Secretary, Finance Secretary, Librarian, etc.)
-Sports Secretary
-Subbed at Dixie High before working as a secretary
-Homebound for Dixie High (homework to ill students that couldn't come to school)

-Sleeping in

Do you have anything that you would like to add or say about Dixie High School?
Dixie is a wonderful place to work. I LOVE my Dixie High family. Dixie High is a school that tries to involve everyone.
